I think most scientists love to meet people who are interested in their work – and we know that science affects everyone in the universe, so we love to share it! We’re happy to meet you and talk to you, and we hope that you’re just as happy to meet and talk to us (and maybe, one day, work with us). We have every reason to be nice!

We all really enjoy chatting to you! We love talking to people about our work and getting other people excited about science, as we all think it’s a really great job to do!

Thank you – I suppose we have all volunteered to be part of these kind of activities so hopefully this means we are all motivated and enjoy this kind of exchange and chat 😉

That’s so nice of you to say thank you 🙂 I guess for being a scientist it takes a lot of enthusiasm, passion and resilience. In the long run you learn that being kind will make your life much happier and your work also more enjoyable. Plus we are used to work in teams and if you’re not kind…well you don’t make it very far in both personal and professional life

If someone has been so kind to me, then I have to be kind to someone else. And there is no way someone can get to know what I do if I do not inform them about it. We need more scientists to bring more expertise and who are enthusiastic.
