  I do not work with fossils so sadly my answer is zero! I think they are cool though and can tells us lots of information

  I have never discovered a physical fossil… But the viral DNA I look for in frog and toad DNA could be millions of years old! This kind of viral DNA is often considered “viral fossils”, as their DNA can be read and tell us information about the virus-host interactions, and movement of the virus through or between species over time.
